Job summary

Zylifefz in Dubai is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations and ensure accurate records for a busy UAE-based business.

You will handle AP/AR, GL, month-end close, VAT compliance, intercompany reconciliations, and assist audits while coordinating with banks and suppliers. The ideal candidate has CA Inter/commerce degree, 3–5 years UAE experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Immediate joining is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Masters of Commerce and Preferably CA Inter.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience in UAE.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and UAE VAT.
• Proficiency in Tally Prime and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with an eye on accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Must be available to join immediately.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records
• Handle accounts payable accounts receivable and general ledger activities
• Perform daily banking activities calculate accrued interest allocate receipts and payments
• Prepare monthly MIS reports like AP- AR Ageing Cashflow Cost Centre reports FA Schedule etc
• Assist with month-end quarter-end and year-end closing including Audits
• Support VAT compliance and Corporate Tax requirements
• Manage intercompany transactions and balance reconciliations
• Handle foreign currency transactions in Tally and Ensure forex entries are correct
• Coordinate with banks suppliers and internal departments regarding payments and financial matters
