Job summary

ByteDance is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to join the Innovative BytePlus Team in a high-impact, customer-facing role. You will shape GenAI opportunities across MEA and US regions, design multimodal AI solutions, and own production pipelines with modern orchestration tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience with 5+ years in a Solutions Architect, Pre-Sales Engineer, or similar customer-facing technical role.
• Hands-on experience delivering image, video, or multimodal GenAI systems within real-world or production environments.
• Strong background in cloud platforms, GPU workloads, and distributed systems.
• Proven experience supporting enterprise customers across the MEA and US regions.
• Comfortable operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments with rapidly evolving GenAI technologies.
• Strong technical and business judgment skills.
• Chinese Language Proficiency: Chinese is required for managing stakeholders and business growth with Chinese-speaking clients.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Sales Partnership: Partner with regional Sales teams to identify, qualify, and shape GenAI opportunities for stakeholders from C-level to engineering teams.
• Multimodal Solution Delivery: Design and deliver AIGC solutions including text/image/video generation with brand consistency and VLM workflows.
• Production Pipeline Architecture: Architect production-grade GenAI pipelines using diffusion models, VLMs, and LoRA/adapters with orchestration frameworks.
• Agentic Workflow Design: Develop agentic AIGC workflows with autonomous agents, retries, and human-in-the-loop approvals.
• Technical Advisory & Governance: Advise on model selection trade-offs, cost and latency optimization, IP protection, content safety, and watermarking.
• Innovation & Lifecycle Ownership: Own AIGC POCs, translate feedback into platform requirements, and support post-sales upsell of advanced capabilities.
