Job summary

Hanson Search Ltd. is partnering with an international investment business to appoint a Head of GCC Corporate Affairs, based in the United Arab Emirates. The role shapes how the firm engages with government and business stakeholders across the Gulf region.

The Head will lead a small team, influence senior leadership, and work closely with regional investment teams to ensure strategic, well-prepared engagement across Abu Dhabi, Dubai and the wider Gulf.

Qualifications

• Significant senior experience in government relations, public affairs, corporate affairs or strategic advisory within the GCC.
• Established network with government, sovereign and business stakeholders across the UAE and Gulf.
• Strong commercial acumen with exposure to regional investment or multinational environments.
• Ability to advise chairs, CEOs or ministers and manage high-profile visits.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a regional stakeholder map and engagement plan aligned to investment priorities.
• Assess meeting requests for the Chairman/CEO and advise on acceptance or delegation.
• Shape and protect the firm's regional corporate profile and media engagement.
• Contribute to sponsorships and partnerships with a focused set of regional themes.
• Collaborate with Middle East governance board and report on key relationships.
• Serve as liaison with a bilateral business council and manage engagement appropriately.
• Direct a dedicated engagement coordinator handling CRM, meetings and briefs.
