Job summary

Viking EMEA is seeking an entrepreneurial Gas Suppression Sales Support Engineer to reinforce our Middle East team. You will provide technical support for gas suppression and detection products, prepare BOMs from tender specs, and assist local offices in quoting while driving opportunities with sales teams across Europe.

Ideal candidates have hands-on gas suppression experience, a background in technical sales or project leadership, and a strong engineering foundation.

Qualifications

• Solid expertise with gas suppression systems.
• Background in technical sales or as a project leader within fire protection or related business.
• Technical/engineering background; understanding of contracting; able to work with specifiers and contractors.
• Knowledge of fire protection rules, especially for gas systems (VdS/UL/FM).
• Experience designing systems is desirable.
• Strong communication in English and local language; additional languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support (including on-site) to staff, customers and gas and detection products.
• Prepare system bills of material from tender documents and specifications to assist local offices in quoting.
• Collaborate with local Sales Representatives to identify new project opportunities.
• Offer advantages of Viking products over competitors and provide technical submissions and documentation.
• Work with sales team to promote Viking to new potential customers and organize training/seminars.
