Job summary

First Abu Dhabi Bank seeks a seasoned markets professional to lead emerging markets FX and rates activities, overseeing structuring and execution, and conducting risk and return analysis to maximise profitability while upholding policy and regulators.

You will drive strategy, pricing, and client flow, mentor juniors, and collaborate with Sales, Risk, and Quant teams to expand offerings and ensure compliant, timely pricing.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree in Accounting, Economics, Banking or Financial Management or equivalent.
• Minimum of 8 years relevant markets experience in similar positions.
• Strong understanding of relevant global markets products.
• Proven track record in risk management and delivering financial performance.
• Proficient with Bloomberg and VBA/Macro development.
• Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the business strategy and manage/leverage customer flow to meet and surpass set budget.
• Lead and mentor junior staff and enhance desk capabilities with strategic improvements.
• Provide pricing and collaborate with Sales to develop the client franchise.
• Work with Risk to adapt mandate to opportunities and risk appetite of FAB.
• Develop and implement pricing curves, modelling, and ensure compliance with limits.
• Produce market commentaries and trade recommendations as required.
• Expand counterparty awareness and maintain relationships with brokers and market participants.
