Job summary

The Woolwich Institute in Knowledge Village, Dubai, invites applications for a Full-Time Faculty member in Computing to deliver lectures aligned with the Pearson BTEC curriculum and to design and update assignment briefs.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, 2–3 years of teaching experience, and strong verbal and written communication skills, along with effective classroom management and mentorship abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective lectures in line with the Pearson BTEC curriculum
• Prepare and update assignment briefs as per Pearson guidelines
• Assess and provide constructive feedback on student work, adhering to Pearson assessment criteria
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive course files, student records, and evidence of assessment
• Coordinate with Pearson representatives and manage Standards Verifier (SV) visits
• Ensure adherence to internal and external quality assurance procedures
• Participate in academic planning, curriculum development, and moderation activities
• Provide academic support and mentorship to students, guiding them toward achieving their learning goals
