Job summary

Fatherson International FZE is seeking an Architectural Draftsman to produce precise 2D drawings and 3D models in line with designs, specifications, and regulations.

You'll coordinate with architects and BIM teams, prepare floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction drawings for residential, commercial, and high-rise projects, ensuring thorough documentation and compliance.

Qualifications

• Proficient in using AutoCAD and Revit for architectural drawings.
• Able to translate designs into accurate 2D drawings and 3D models.

Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural floor plans, elevations, sections, details, and layouts.
• Develop detailed construction and shop drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Prepare drawings for residential, commercial, and high-rise projects.
• Coordinate architectural drawings with MEP, structural, and civil drawings.
• Revise drawings according to consultant and client comments.
• Prepare as-built drawings and maintain drawing documentation.
• Ensure accuracy, dimensions, specifications, and drawing standards.
• Work with architects, engineers, BIM teams, and site personnel.
• Support the project team with drawing updates and technical documentation.
• Ensure drawings comply with project requirements and building standards.

Architectural Draftsman – Job Description

An Architectural Draftsman is responsible for preparing accurate architectural drawings and detailed plans based on architectural designs, project specifications, and client requirements. The role involves developing 2D drawings and 3D models, coordinating with architects and other engineering disciplines, and ensuring drawings comply with project standards and applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
