Job summary

HUZAIFA TECHNICAL SERVICES L L C in Dubai is seeking a technically skilled draftsman to prepare shop drawings, working drawings, and as-built drawings for fit-out and interior projects.

You will develop plans, elevations, sections, details, and layouts, and coordinate with site engineers, joinery, MEP, and other trades to ensure designs meet requirements.

Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; SketchUp and Revit are a plus, with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or Drafting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; SketchUp/Revit a plus.
• Experience in fit-out/interior projects preferred.
• Ability to read architectural, civil and MEP drawings.
• Good attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare shop drawings, working drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Prepare plans, elevations, sections, details, and layouts.
• Coordinate drawings with site engineers, PMs, joinery, MEP, and others.
• Revise drawings based on site conditions and design changes.
• Maintain drawing records and documentation.
• Coordinate with QS for quantities and material requirements.

Job description

Prepare detailed shop drawings, working drawings, and as-built drawings for fit-out and interior projects.

Prepare plans, elevations, sections, details, and layouts as per project requirements.

Develop drawings based on site measurements, design concepts, and consultant/client requirements.

Coordinate drawings with site engineers, project managers, joinery, MEP, and other trades.

Revise drawings based on site conditions, approvals, and design changes.

Prepare joinery, gypsum, ceiling, flooring, partition, and architectural details.

Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and approved designs.

Conduct site visits and take accurate measurements when required.

Maintain proper drawing records, revisions, and documentation.

Coordinate with the QS and project team for quantities and material requirements.

Skills

Diploma/Degree or relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Drafting.

Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of SketchUp/Revit is an advantage.

Previous experience in fit-out/interior projects preferred.

Ability to read and understand architectural, civil, and MEP drawings.

Good attention to detail and ability to work within project deadlines.
