Job summary

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years' experience in the produce industry.
• Organized and able to prioritize/multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a fresh and appealing display by keeping cases/shelves clean and well stocked; check codes, rotate items, and remove obsolete products.
• Coordinate with the fruit and vegetables supervisor on shop stock quantities for weekly ads, farmers markets, in-store tastings, etc.
• Follow health and cleanliness procedures and safe work practices.
• Show knowledge of the produce market with seasonal changes and product variety.
• Be able to work shifts including weekends and nights.
• Manage stock and pricing to meet sales and margin targets.
• Follow department procedures to maintain supplies, back stock, and coolers; track transfers and waste.
• Maintain accurate department signage and pricing.
