Job summary

Almadina Distribution Centre LLC in Dubai is seeking a skilled Produce Supervisor to oversee the Fruits & Vegetables section. You will ensure products are fresh, well displayed, and available, and you will train and supervise section staff while maintaining food safety standards.

Responsibilities include implementing FIFO, coordinating with warehouse and purchasing for replenishment, conducting daily stock checks, preparing reports on sales and waste, and handling customer inquiries

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in horticulture or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years progressive experience in produce retail or grocery management.
• Ability to manage inventory, control waste, and maintain high-quality standards.
• Strong understanding of fruit and vegetable seasonality, ripeness, and handling practices.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all products are fresh, properly displayed, and available for sale.
• Monitor product quality and remove damaged or expired items immediately.
• Implement FIFO (First In First Out) stock rotation procedures.
• Coordinate with warehouse and purchasing team for timely replenishment.
• Maintain attractive merchandising and promotional displays.
• Achieve sales margin and shrinkage control targets.
• Train, guide, and supervise section staff and helpers.
• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards are maintained.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
• Conduct daily stock checks and assist in inventory counting.
• Prepare reports related to sales, wastage, and stock movement.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and UAE food safety regulations.
