Job summary

Emirates SkyCargo in Dubai is seeking a Freighter Scheduling Manager to optimize aircraft utilisation across the freighter network while balancing commercial needs, slots, and maintenance. You will develop annual operating plans and lead hub development at DWC to improve transit times and profitability.

Responsibilities include coordinating with IT, maintenance, and crewing to seamless schedule execution, and ensuring SSIM/related systems reflect operational plans and permit requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Honours and professional knowledge of airline/cargo operations.
• Knowledge and experience in scheduling systems.
• Completed relevant industry/airline advanced cargo acceptance handling and load planning courses.
• In-depth knowledge of strategic planning and cargo systems; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Devise annual operating plans for the freighter fleet, considering current and future capacity to maximize utilization and profitability.
• Manage slot constraints at key airports and maintain historic slots to secure commercial advantages.
• Develop a freighter hub at DWC with scalable capacity for future fleet additions and optimal transit times.
• Plan for maintenance checks at DXB without impacting schedule integrity and coordinate with maintenance providers.
• Ensure freighter-specific requirements are integrated into scheduling systems like AirVision Sabre.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to implement operating plans across systems and automate dissemination.
• Generate SSIM files and integrate with SkyChain, CORE, LIDO, POWER, RPS and related systems.
• Liaise with crewing to ensure crewed flights and cost-effective staffing for scheduled/ad-hoc flights.
• Obtain necessary operating permits and approvals in coordination with internal/external departments.
