Job summary

Emirates is seeking a Freighter Scheduling Manager to optimise aircraft utilisation and profitability across the freighter network from Dubai. The role requires coordinating slot management at major airports, hub development at DXB/DWC, and aligning with maintenance and crewing needs to maintain schedule integrity.

You will drive annual operating plans, liaise with Cargo Scheduling, IT and external partners, and implement automated data flows into scheduling systems to support rapid decision

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in airline/cargo operations or related field.
• Completion of industry/airline approved cargo acceptance handling and load planning courses.
• In-depth knowledge of strategic planning and factors influencing air cargo.

Responsibilities

• Devise annual operating plans for freighter fleet to maximise utilization and profitability.
• Manage slot constraints at key airports while maintaining historic slots and efficiency.
• Develop freighter hub at DWC with scalable capacity and optimal transit times.
• Plan for engineering/maintenance checks at DXB without schedule disruption.
• Ensure freighter schedule data integrates with AirVision Sabre, SkyChain, CORE, LIDO, POWER, RPS and related systems.
• Collaborate to obtain necessary operating permits for scheduled/ad-hoc freight flights.
• Coordinate with Crewing to ensure adequate crewing for all flights.
• Conduct cost and revenue analysis for each schedule diversion or rotation.
