Job summary

The Emirates Group, a global air cargo leader, seeks a Freighter Scheduling Manager to optimize aircraft utilisation and profitability across the freighter network from Dubai. You will plan long- and short-term schedules, manage slot constraints, and coordinate with IT, operations, and crewing to maintain schedule integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or honours and professional knowledge of airline/cargo operations.
• Knowledge and experience in scheduling systems.
• Completed advanced cargo acceptance handling and load planning courses.
• In-depth knowledge of making strategic plans considering key factors on air cargo.
• Advanced knowledge of cargo systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Devise annual operating plans for freighter fleet to maximize utilization and profitability.
• Manage slot constraints at key airports to secure optimal market opportunities.
• Develop a freighter hub at DWC with scalable capabilities for future fleet expansion.
• Plan for aircraft maintenance checks at DXB without schedule disruption.
• Ensure freighter schedules integrate with AirVision Sabre and other systems.
• Collaborate to obtain operating permits and approvals for freight operations.
• Analyse crew-related complexities with the crewing department to ensure proper staffing.
• Conduct cost and revenue analyses for diversions and rotations to optimize P&L.
