Job summary

Givaudan, based in Dubai Media City, is seeking a Perfumery Laboratory Technician to support perfumers with compounding and day‑to‑day lab operations in line with EH&S policies. You will join a creative, passionate team in the SAMEA region and help ensure accurate sampling, timely material checks, and strict compliance to safety norms while maintaining a well organized lab.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a relevant discipline.
• 1–2 years of fragrance compounding laboratory or related experience.
• Knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems.
• Ability to adapt to daily laboratory work in a scents-focused environment.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Excellent time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Understanding and executing the entire compounding process
• Carrying out the sampling process optimally efficiently and cost effectively
• Removing expired raw materials
• Checking the quality of raw materials
• Ensuring strict compliance to all the safety norms and practices maintenance of the laboratory
• Being an active team player with an open mind for continuous improvement process
