Job summary

Givaudan in Dubai is seeking an Associate Perfume Analyst for the SAMEA region to support Fine Fragrance & Consumer Products Development. You will conduct GC-MS analysis, maintain instruments, and ensure data quality in a dynamic lab setting.

Requirements include a BSc/MSc in Chemistry and at least 5 years in perfume analysis, with strong data interpretation and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement. Dubai-based role offering growth in a global company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry or a relevant discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years in perfume analysis and operation of GCMS instrumentation.
• Strong data interpretation skills and ability to adapt analytical protocols independently.
• Experience of working in an international environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Independently plan and execute perfume analysis projects for key markets in SAMEA.
• Adapt analytical approaches to meet business needs and timelines.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide analytical recommendations.
• Perform routine GC-MS maintenance and ensure laboratory safety and SOP compliance.
• Liaise with suppliers for equipment improvements and onboarding of trainees.
