Job summary

GEMS Metropole School Al Waha, part of Gems Education UAE, seeks an FS Teacher for Early Years to guide young learners through structured teaching, play and inquiry. You will foster literacy, numeracy, independence and confidence while building inclusive, safe learning environments.

Qualifications

• BEd or Bachelor's degree with PGCE/PGDE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Proven Early Years teaching experience with knowledge of Foundation Stage pedagogy.
• Creative and enthusiastic teaching style with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Foundation Stage lessons focusing on development across cognitive, social and physical domains.
• Create age-appropriate learning experiences through play, storytelling and guided instruction.
• Develop early literacy, Phonics and emergent writing, as well as numeracy foundations.
• Differentiate activities to meet diverse developmental levels and needs.
• Observe progress, assess and plan next steps, communicating with parents.
