Azizi Developments in the UAE seeks an experienced Design Engineer – Formwork to develop safe, economical formwork and shoring solutions for building projects in Dubai. You will independently prepare formwork designs, GA drawings, calculations and material take-offs, using AutoCAD, Excel templates and in-house tools, ensuring compliance with BS/European standards and project specs.

Responsibilities include producing 2D/3D models, coordinating with the design team, and providing technical support

Competenze

Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

Minimum 5 years of formwork design experience.
Strong knowledge of AutoCAD 2D; 3D is advantageous.
Familiarity with BS standards, codes, and temporary works principles.
Experience with PERI, Doka or similar formwork systems.
Ability to interpret structural and architectural drawings accurately.

Mansioni

Prepare safe, economical formwork and shoring design solutions for buildings and infra projects.
Develop GA drawings, assembly drawings, basic steel fabrication drawings, and 2D/3D models.
Carry out independent design calculations using tables, data sheets, Excel templates and in-house tools.
Maintain engineering documents, drawing registers and design records.
Support site and construction teams with technical inputs and QA checks.
