Job summary

PERI GmbH Formwork Scaffolding Engineering is seeking an experienced Lead Engineer (8+ years) for advanced formwork and shoring design in Dubai. You will deliver safe, compliant, and cost-effective engineering solutions, produce drawings, calculations, and reports, and lead reviews with clients and contractors on major infrastructure projects.

Applicants should have a Civil/Mechanical engineering degree, strong AutoCAD RFEM/RSTAB skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of formwork, falsework, shoring and scaffolding design experience.
• Experience on major infrastructure projects such as bridges and tunnels.
• Strong capability in structural analysis and international codes.

Responsibilities

• Develop safe, compliant, and cost-effective engineering solutions for formwork and shoring applications.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, design calculations and technical documentation.
• Generate accurate material take-offs to support project execution.
• Perform structural analyses and prepare design reports per international standards.
• Provide technical expertise for complex infrastructure projects.
• Lead technical discussions and design reviews with clients, consultants and contractors.
• Conduct site visits to verify design implementation and address challenges.
• Collaborate with sales, operations and project teams for optimal solutions.
• Ensure designs comply with codes, standards, specs and procedures.
• Support value engineering and design optimization initiatives.
