Job summary

Confidential Company is seeking a skilled Foreman to supervise joinery and carpentry works in Dubai. The candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in joinery, with strong knowledge of custom furniture and the ability to manage production and installation teams effectively.

The role includes coordinating with various stakeholders, conducting quality inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. UAE/GCC experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of custom furniture, cabinetry, doors, and wardrobes.
• Ability to read shop drawings and coordinate installations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise joinery and carpentry works at factory and site
• Manage carpenters, installers and skilled workers to ensure smooth execution of projects
• Read and interpret shop drawings, technical drawings and specifications
• Coordinate with production, site engineers, project managers and subcontractors
• Ensure joinery works are completed as per approved drawings, quality standards and project timelines
• Monitor material requirements and report shortages
• Conduct quality inspections before dispatch and installation
• Ensure safe working practices and compliance with HSE requirements
• Prepare daily progress reports and update management on work status
• Resolve site and production issues to avoid delays

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in joinery works, with experience in a Foreman role
• Strong knowledge of custom furniture, cabinetry, doors, wardrobes, wall cladding, and other joinery works
• Ability to read shop drawings and coordinate installations
• Experience managing factory production teams and site installation teams
• Good leadership and communication skills
• UAE/GCC experience preferred
