Job summary

WOOD WORLD DECOR L.L.C. in Dubai is seeking a skilled Carpentry Supervisor to lead all carpentry and joinery works on site, ensuring quality finishes.

You will read technical drawings, coordinate carpenters and subcontractors, monitor progress, and ensure safety and timely completion of projects.

This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to solving site issues while ensuring materials are available and used efficiently.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising carpentry and joinery on construction sites.
• Ability to read technical/shop drawings and project specs.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Ensure safety and quality compliance at site.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all carpentry and joinery works at the project site.
• Coordinate daily activities of carpenters, helpers and subcontractors.
• Read and understand technical drawings, shop drawings and project specifications.
• Ensure proper installation of joinery items, furniture, doors, cabinets, wall cladding, ceilings and other woodwork.
• Monitor work progress and ensure projects are completed within deadlines.
• Conduct site measurements and coordinate with production and design teams.
• Ensure material availability and proper utilization at the site.
• Maintain quality standards and finish to client requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants and clients regarding site progress.
• Identify and resolve site-related issues and technical problems.
• Ensure workplace safety and compliance with company procedures.
• Prepare daily work reports and manpower updates.
• Inspect completed work and rectify snag items if required.
• UAE driving license is an added advantage.
