Job summary

Renaissance Hotels in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Food Safety and Operations Supervisor to oversee hygiene compliance across operations, advise on proper handling, and provide training for new hires and trainees.

You will identify risk areas, implement corrective actions, assist with hiring, scheduling, evaluating, and coaching staff, and ensure adherence to quality standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health or Culinary.
• 2 to 4 years of related work experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• License or Certification: None

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate operations to ensure hygiene and food safety compliance.
• Advise on proper food handling practices and provide training for new hires and trainees.
• Identify key risk areas and take preemptive corrective action.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and coaching employees.
• Maintain confidentiality, protect assets, and report safety issues per policies.
• Address guests’ service needs and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Develop positive working relationships and support the team to achieve goals.
• Adhere to quality standards and be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
