Job summary

Southern Sun is seeking a friendly Hostess in Abu Dhabi to greet guests, seat them, and assist with reservation requests. You will work as part of the front-of-house team to ensure smooth dining experiences and uphold high service standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork, proactive communication, and delivering prompt, courteous guest service while adhering to hygiene and safety policies.

• Greet and seat guests, and handle guest complaints.
• Maintain high service standards and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Manage all tasks of service preparation, including meetings, briefings, menus, wine lists, and operating equipment.
• Access and interpret hygiene and safety policies and legislative requirements for efficient implementation.
• Fulfil service requirements promptly with a positive approach.
• Build a competent and motivated team across departments through effective communications and confident leadership.
• Work as part of a team or individually to deliver high quality standards.
• Ensure excellent customer service levels when engaging with guests and managing reservation systems.
• Greet and seat guests and address complaints.
