Wynn Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah is seeking a Floral Designer – Floral Operations to join our Floral Operations team. The role involves creating and maintaining fresh arrangements for public areas, events, and guest services, under supervision, with a focus on quality and presentation.

The ideal candidate has 2 years’ experience in a 5-star hotel or resort, strong English communication, and proficiency with MS Office/Outlook. Experience with large events is a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires 2 years’ experience in a 5-star integrated hotel/resort.
• Previous experience in Commercial Floral is preferrable
• Previous experience in large events, big-scale weddings, and shows is preferred
• Presentable and an excellent communicator and supervising team

Responsabilités

• Work in floral workshop, handling all floral arrangement for public areas, in house guest & departmental orders.
• Maintain fresh flowers, replacing as needed on a maintenance schedule, add or change water on a regular basis if necessary.
• Keep workshop clean and tidy at all times.
• Ensure all flowers are properly stored in fridge.
• Provide help when required for banqueting work and special function flowers.

About Wynn Al Marjan Island

Wynn Al Marjan Island will be the first integrated resort in the UAE. Set to open in 2027, the resort will be located 50 miles from Dubai International Airport in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. The resort will offer 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges, and bars, a theater, and a beach club. It will feature multiple swimming and wading pools, a five-star spa, a salon, a shopping promenade, and a celebrations and events center.

About The Position

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Floral Designer – Floral Operations to join the resort’s Floral Operations team.

Responsibilities

• Consult the Supervisor - Floral for approval of any major changes.
• Work in floral workshop, handling all floral arrangement for public areas, in house guest & departmental orders.
• Maintain fresh flowers, replacing as needed on a maintenance schedule, add or change water on a regular basis if necessary.
• Keep workshop clean and tidy at all times.
• Ensure all flowers are properly stored in fridge.
• Provide help when required for banqueting work and special function flowers.
• Set up and keep track of flower arrangements in all public areas, restaurants, executive office and any required areas within the hotel on a daily basis.
• Assist Supervisor in the preparation of the big scale of flower arrangement.
• Accept any other duties when assigned by the Floral Supervisor or Assistant Manager.
• Interact with Department and Company Team Members, management, and contractors professionally and positively.
• Encourage good relationships, promote team spirit, and ensure effective two-way and multicultural communications.
• Remain well-mannered and well-groomed as per Department and Company standards at all times.
• Follow health and safety standards and strive for constant improvement to avoid health and injury hazards.
• Clean and tidy the office and participate in the Company recycling program and follow a strict discipline to reduce, re-use and recycle wherever possible.

About You

• Requires 2 years’ experience in a 5-star integrated hotel/resort
• Previous experience in Commercial Floral is preferrable
• Previous experience in large events, big-scale weddings, and shows is preferred
• Communication – Fluent in English
• Familiar with Western, Asian, and Middle Eastern flower design
• Good computer knowledge (MS Office and Outlook)
• Presentable and is an excellent communicator and supervising team
• Good in established leadership skills
• Proactive, Creative, and Innovative
• Physically fit
• Experience in a luxury hotel or resort setting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
