Job summary

Wynn Al Marjan Island in Abu Dhabi is seeking a skilled Floral Designer to manage all floral arrangements for public areas, events, and banqueting within the hotel.

You will work in the floral workshop, coordinate with the Supervisor, and maintain fresh flowers with regular replacement, while ensuring high standards of presentation and multicultural communication. Flexibility for weekends and public holidays is required, in a dynamic luxury setting.

Qualifications

• Requires 2 years experience in a 5-star integrated hotel/resort.
• Previous experience in Commercial Floral is preferrable.
• Previous experience in large events, big-scale weddings, and shows is preferred.
• Communication Fluent in English.
• Familiar with Western, Asian, and Middle Eastern flower design.
• Good computer knowledge (MS Office and Outlook).
• Presentable and is an excellent communicator and supervising team.
• Good in established leadership skills.
• Proactive, Creative, and Innovative.
• Physically fit.
• Experience in a luxury hotel or resort setting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Consult the Supervisor - Floral for approval of major changes.
• Work in floral workshop and handle all floral arrangements for public areas.
• Assist in-house guest and departmental orders.
• Maintain fresh flowers and replace as needed on a maintenance schedule.
• Ensure flowers are stored properly in the fridge and kept tidy.
• Provide help for banqueting work and large events.
