Job summary

Etihad Airways is seeking a Technical Product Manager for Flight Operations to own and advance technology products across Flight and Crew Operations. You will manage a prioritized backlog, translate complex operational needs into technical solutions, and drive releases through RTL with governance and security in mind.

You will collaborate with architects, developers, and vendors to ensure on-time delivery while maintaining operational continuity and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Software Eng or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in the airline/aviation industry.
• Knowledge of Flight Operations and Crew Management systems.
• Experience with IT governance, change management and regulatory environments.
• Understanding of cloud tech, APIs and modern enterprise architectures.
• Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, Power BI, Smartsheet.
• SAFe, PMP or PRINCE2 certifications preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Own planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of tech projects across Flight and Crew Operations.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions with architects and developers.
• Manage scope, dependencies, risks, and delivery blockers to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.
• Ensure changes comply with governance, cybersecurity, and aviation regulations (FAA, EASA, GCAA).
• Serve as liaison between DevOps, Data Engineering, Networking and stakeholders across domains.
• Prepare change records, release plans, and CAB readiness assessments.
• Provide regular progress, budget, risk, and executive status updates.
• Oversee deployments through RTL and related environment management frameworks.
• Support ITSM/ITIL-based change, incident, and release activities.
