The Role

We are seeking an experienced Flight Operations Coordinator / Aviation Safety Officer to support flight operations, operational planning, safety monitoring, compliance activities, and risk-management initiatives.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of coordinating multiple operational requirements in a time-sensitive environment. This role will work closely with flight operations, crew, maintenance, ground operations, management, and other stakeholders to promote safe, compliant, and efficient aviation activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily flight operations, schedules, operational requirements, and related documentation.
• Monitor flight plans, operational changes, delays, disruptions, and schedule adjustments.
• Coordinate information between flight crews, dispatch, maintenance, ground teams, and relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate operational records, reports, checklists, and flight-related documentation.
• Monitor operational activities for compliance with established procedures and safety requirements.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of aviation safety policies and procedures.
• Identify operational hazards, safety concerns, and potential areas of risk.
• Assist with safety risk assessments and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
• Monitor safety reports, incidents, observations, and corrective actions.
• Support investigations and documentation of operational incidents when required.
• Track safety performance indicators, trends, findings, and improvement actions.
• Assist with internal safety audits, inspections, compliance reviews, and follow-up activities.
• Coordinate safety-related training, briefings, communications, and awareness initiatives.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling operational and safety-sensitive information.
• Prepare operational summaries, safety reports, dashboards, and management updates.
• Stay informed about relevant aviation regulations, operational standards, safety practices, and industry developments.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant experience in flight operations, aviation coordination, aviation safety, airline operations, or a related field preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Aviation Management, Aviation Safety, Operations Management, or a related discipline preferred.
• Strong understanding of flight operations, aviation safety principles, operational procedures, and risk management.
• Familiarity with safety management systems, incident reporting, hazard identification, and corrective-action processes.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze operational information, identify risks, and communicate recommendations clearly.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and aviation operational standards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to remain organized and responsive when managing time-sensitive operational requirements.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Comfortable working independently with distributed and international teams.
• Professional aviation certifications are not required unless specifically relevant to the role.
