Job summary

Ducoliz Luxury Transport LLC in the UAE is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage financial operations for a car rental and Uber/ride-hailing business. The role covers VAT compliance, driver settlements, and monthly reporting.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance and 2–3 years of relevant experience; familiarity with Zoho/Xero/QuickBooks/Tally and strong Excel skills are preferred. Immediate joining is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience.
• Experience in car rental, fleet management, taxi, or Uber-related businesses is preferred.
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT regulations, including VAT return preparation and reconciliations.
• Basic to good knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax regulations, tax computation, and filing requirements.
• Experience in bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, AP/AR, and monthly financial reporting.
• Ability to reconcile rental income, driver settlements, commissions, fleet expenses, fuel costs, and maintenance.
• Familiarity with RTA-related transactions and vehicle permits is an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Zoho, Xero, QuickBooks, or Tally.
• Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet reporting deadlines and maintain proper accounting records.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Candidates who can join immediately or on short notice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial operations for a car rental and Uber/ride-hailing business in the UAE.
• Prepare UAE VAT returns, tax invoices, input/output VAT, and VAT reconciliations.
• Handle driver settlements, fleet expenses, commissions, and vehicle-related costs.
• Maintain bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and monthly financial reporting.
• Coordinate with internal teams and ensure compliance with UAE Corporate Tax requirements.
• Familiarity with RTA transactions and vehicle permits is advantageous.
