Job summary

Etihad Airways, based in Abu Dhabi, is seeking a Fleet Engineer to ensure ongoing airworthiness and compliance with CAR-AIR OPS, CAR M and CAR 145 requirements. You will review airworthiness directives, coordinate with OEMs/MROs, and support modification projects while maintaining high safety standards.

Qualifications

CAMO experience or equivalent in Technical Services/ Fleet Engineering.
Bachelor degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical or Electrical/Electronics engineering.

Responsibilities

Review Airworthiness Directives and mandatory Service Bulletins to maintain airworthiness and safety standards.
Collaborate with OEMs, MROs and internal teams to improve fleet reliability and on-time performance.
Create business cases for modifications and facilitate Modification Review Committee decisions.
Compile Engineering Orders and Special Checks for modification and status assessments.
Support technical projects such as EIS, end of aircraft lease, and modification programs.
Ensure TFU/FAIR reviews are conducted and advisories issued.
Promote safe reporting culture and assist the Lead Engineer in Fleet Management.
