VERTOLOGIX FZE in Dubai seeks a Dispatch Manager to oversee daily dispatch operations and ensure timely vehicle movements. You will lead a team of dispatchers and drivers, develop routing strategies, and monitor fleet performance for uptime and safety compliance.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Logistics or related field, 3–5 years in fleet management, proficiency with dispatch software and GPS systems, and strong leadership and analytical abilities to improve cost efficiency and service

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of progressive experience in fleet management or dispatch operations, preferably in transportation.
• Proficiency in fleet management software, GPS tracking systems, and other dispatch technologies.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with ability to motivate operational staff.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure and in dynamic situations.
• Solid understanding of transportation regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with drivers, staff, and stakeholders.
• Data analysis and reporting skills to drive operational insights and improvements.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily dispatch operations to ensure timely and efficient movement of vehicles and resources.
• Manage a team of dispatchers and drivers, providing leadership, training, and performance evaluations.
• Develop and implement optimized routing and scheduling strategies to minimize travel time, fuel consumption, and costs.
• Monitor fleet performance and maintenance schedules, coordinating with maintenance teams for uptime and safety.
• Respond to urgent operational issues, such as vehicle breakdowns or traffic disruptions, with swift solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle movements, driver hours, and delivery statuses for reporting.
• Enforce company policies and safety regulations, ensuring adherence to established protocols.
