Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a Hospitality/F&B/Hotel Diploma is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of waiter/waitress experience in luxury settings; freshers welcome.
• Solid knowledge of food and beverage service standards and menu terminology.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with guests of diverse backgrounds.
• Well-groomed, professional appearance and guest-focused attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced luxury environment including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and attend to them throughout their dining experience.
• Present menus and provide knowledgeable recommendations on food and beverages.
• Take orders accurately and relay special requests to kitchen and bar teams.
• Serve courses and beverages following five-star service standards and timing.
• Maintain knowledge of ingredients, allergens, promotions, and beverage options.
• Monitor tables, anticipate needs, and provide timely refills and clearing.
• Prepare tables and dining areas with mise-en-place and ensure cleanliness.
• Coordinate with kitchen, bar, host staff to communicate guest preferences and occasions.
• Handle feedback professionally and escalate issues when needed.
• Adhere to billing, payment, hygiene, and health safety procedures.
