Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-drivenFit-Out Site Engineer – Luxury Villas, Corporate, and hospitality to join ourteam in the UAE. This role plays a critical part in the successful delivery ofhigh-end residential villa, corporate and hospitality project with a strongfocus on premium interior fit-out works and major architectural finishes.
The Site Engineer will be responsible for managing andcoordinating on-site fit-out activities, ensuring that all works are executedin strict compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards,and project timelines. The role requires close coordination with projectmanagers, contractors, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to alignworkmanship quality, resources, logistics, and budgets throughout the projectlifecycle.
The ideal candidateis a hands-on professional with strong technical expertise in luxury finishes,excellent attention to detail, and proven experience delivering bespoke villafit-out projects to the highest standards. Main Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage day-to-day interior fit-out worksfor luxury villas, Corporate,and hospitality including high-end finishes such as marble and stone works,tile works, bespoke joinery, ceilings, partitions, glass works, façadeelements, and decorative finishes.
- Ensure all works are executed in full compliance withapproved IFC drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, method statements,and project specifications.
- Coordinate closely with MEP teams to ensure seamlessintegration with architectural finishes, including proper coordination ofopenings, supports, sleeves, and concealed services prior to closures.
- Monitor site progress against the approved programme,identify potential delays, and proactively coordinate with subcontractors andsuppliers to maintain project timelines.
- Conduct regular quality inspections, ensure compliancewith approved mock-ups and samples, and issue snag lists while ensuring timelyand proper rectification of defects.
- Coordinate and manage contractors, subcontractors,suppliers, and site labour, ensuring efficient use of manpower, materials, andequipment.
- Preparation and submission of inspection requests(IRs), work notifications, method statements, and daily/weekly progressreports.
- Support site inspections and handovers with contractors,consultants, developers, and authorities, and ensure closure of comments andobservations in a timely manner.
- Verify material deliveries on site to ensurecompliance with approved specifications, storage requirements, and protectionof high-value finishes.
- Ensure strict adherence to Health, Safety, andEnvironmental (HSE) regulations and maintain a clean, organized, and safe siteenvironment.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager on site planning,logistics, sequencing of works, and technical challenges, proposing practicalsolutions when required.
- Assist in the preparation of as-built drawings,warranties, and handover documentation related to fit-out works.
- Possess solid generalknowledge of MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, ELV) to effectivelycoordinate services with architectural and fit-out works, identify clashes, andensure proper integration prior to closure of ceilings, walls, and floors.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of provenexperience in interior fit-out works, with strong exposure to luxury villas orhigh-end residential projects in Dubai
- Hands-on experience working on high-qualityarchitectural finishes, bespoke joinery, marble/stone works, ceilings,partitions, and façade elements.
- Experience in coordinating MEP and architecturalinterfaces, identifying clashes, and supporting solutions prior to siteexecution.
- Familiarity with projectreporting tools and documentation standards in the construction industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Architecture,or related discipline.
- Strong expertise in luxury fit-out execution,materials, and workmanship standards.
- Solid working knowledge of MEP coordination withinhigh-end fit-out projects.
- Familiarity with UAE authority requirements andinspection processes.
- Strong ability to read, interpret, and coordinate IFCdrawings, shop drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
- Familiarity with inspection requests (IRs), methodstatements, material submittals, and as-built documentation.
- Proficient in AutoCAD; good working knowledge of MSOffice (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with externalstakeholders.
