Job summary

Jobsatdubai seeks a Fire Fighting BIM Modeler to prepare shop and as-built drawings in line with project specifications and standards. You will coordinate with consultants for approvals and reflect on-site changes in updated drawings.

Ideal candidates have a Diploma in Engineering (mechanical or electrical) with AutoCAD training and 4–5 years UAE experience with fire-fighting contractors, plus proficiency in REVIT, Navisworks, and CAD.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) with AutoCAD training.
• 4–5 years of UAE experience with a reputable fire-fighting contractor.
• Proficiency in REVIT, NAVISWORKS and CAD (2D/3D) for site drawings.
• Familiarity with UAE codes and NFPA standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare shop drawings and As-built drawings per project specs and standards.
• Prepare shop drawings for consultant approval (Civil Defense, Airport Authority, DEWA, etc.).
• Modify shop drawings to reflect real site coordination.
• Prepare as-built drawings for handover and maintenance records.

Job Description

• Prepare the shop drawings & As built drawings as per the project specification, tender drawings & relevant standards.
• Prepare shop drawings to obtain approval from consultant relevant authorities (Civil defense, Airport Authority, DEWA etc.,) for on-site installation and erection.
• Modify the shop drawing where necessary to reflect real site coordination.
• Prepare as-built drawings as part of handing over documents for future records and maintenance purposes.

Requirements

• Diploma Engineering Certificate from a recognized university & Institute in mechanical or electrical discipline with Auto CAD Training.
• 4-5 years of proven experience in the UAE with a reputable fire-fighting contractor.
• Proficiency in REVIT, NAVISWORKS, and CAD (2D & 3D) for creating precise site work drawings.
• In-depth awareness of UAE codes and NFPA standards.
• Must currently reside in the UAE and be available for immediate joining.
