Job summary

Fatherson International FZE in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Fire Fighting BIM Modeler to develop and maintain 3D BIM models using Autodesk Revit MEP. You will create detailed shop drawings and coordinate with multiple disciplines on high-rise and villa projects.

The role requires strong knowledge of NFPA standards and UAE Civil Defense regulations, with experience in clash detection, BIM coordination, and producing accurate quantity reports. Immediate joiners are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Fire Fighting BIM Modeler.
• Mandatory experience in High‑Rise Building and Villa projects.
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP.
• Advanced knowledge of Navisworks Manage for clash detection and coordination.
• Strong understanding of Fire Fighting systems and hydraulic layouts.
• Experience in preparing Fire Fighting shop drawings and coordinated BIM models.
• Knowledge of NFPA standards, UAE Civil Defense regulations, and local authority requirements.
• Ability to coordinate with Architectural, Structural, MEP, and Interior disciplines.
• Good understanding of BIM workflows, LOD requirements, and construction documentation.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 3D Fire Fighting BIM models using Autodesk Revit MEP.
• Prepare detailed Fire Fighting shop drawings, installation drawings, builders' work drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Model Fire Fighting systems including sprinklers, wet/dry risers, hose reels, landing valves, pumps and tanks.
• Coordinate Fire Fighting models with Architectural, Structural, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, ELV and Fire Alarm disciplines.
• Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks Manage.
• Update BIM models based on consultant comments, design revisions and site requirements.
• Generate schedules, BOQs, material take-offs and quantity reports from Revit models.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and resolve model clashes.
• Ensure BIM models comply with project specifications, UAE Civil Defense regulations, NFPA standards and BIM Execution Plans.
• Maintain project BIM documentation and ensure timely model updates throughout the project lifecycle.
