Key Responsibilities
  • Assist senior technicians with preventive maintenance of fire alarm systems.
  • Support corrective maintenance activities when faults or system issues are reported.
  • Participate in scheduled Planned Preventive Maintenance activities.
  • Help inspect fire alarm panels, detectors, sounders, modules, interfaces, and related field devices.
  • Assist with maintenance of emergency exit systems and associated life safety equipment.
  • Attend service calls with the technical team.
  • Support fault diagnosis and rectification under supervision.
  • Help identify basic electrical or electronic faults affecting fire alarm system performance.
  • Assist with checking cabling, terminations, connections, and device functionality.
  • Support troubleshooting of system alarms, faults, and communication issues.
  • Participate in installation of new fire alarm devices and system components.
  • Assist with cable routing, device mounting, termination, and labeling where assigned.
  • Support testing of newly installed equipment before handover.
  • Assist senior technicians during fire alarm system commissioning activities.
