Job summary
SUNDUS MANAGEMENT CONSULTANCY & STUDIES BUREAUL.L.C in the United Arab Emirates seeks a Mechanical Maintenance Technician for the finishing section of a steel plant. You will perform scheduled corrective maintenance and major repairs to optimize production and reduce downtime.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting during shutdowns, assisting the Sr. Technician, ensuring tool availability, and upholding health, safety and environmental standards.
Qualifications
- Technical knowledge of predictive & preventive maintenance.
- Knowledge & Skill of Trouble Shooting of Mechanical problem.
- Understanding of engineering drawings and Hydraulic circuits.
Responsibilities
- Execute scheduled corrective maintenance and major repairs to optimize production and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot during shutdowns and assist in root-cause analysis for maintenance actions.
- Attend mechanical maintenance problems during shutdowns and communicate abnormalities to plan rectification.
- Check and confirm availability of tools and tackles.
- Ensure compliance with engineering and safety standards in finishing section.
- Assist Sr. Technician Workshop – Finishing during shutdowns.
- Follow mechanical maintenance standards for finishing workshop.
- Observe health, safety and environmental practices as per policies.
