Job summary

Transmed Group in Dubai is seeking a seasoned finance leader to drive the design and go-live of a Group consolidation, budgeting and reporting platform for 29+ operating companies and 13 holding entities.

You will redesign the Group chart of accounts, adopt IFRS 18, and govern the implementation partner while ensuring statutory reporting and tax governance across the group. This role reports to the Group CFO and offers executive visibility and a high-impact runway.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in finance, incl. 6+ years in financial audit or advisory, Big 4 preferred.
• Hands-on IFRS reporting expertise with IFRS 18 knowledge.
• Experience in multi-entity, multi-country finance environments.
• Statutory reporting and external audit coordination; governance skills.
• PMO or program leadership experience across finance transformations.

(12- 18 months contract, Reporting to the Group Finance Controller)

Transmed Group (Dubai, UAE) is rebuilding how a 100+ entity group plans, consolidates and reports — and we're looking for the person to lead it.

Over the next 12–18 months we are implementing a new consolidation, budgeting and reporting platform, redesigning the Group chart of accounts, adopting IFRS 18, and rewiring the reporting process across 29+ operating companies and 13 holding companies. One person owns the thread that runs through all of it. That's this role.

You'll report to the Group Finance Controller and work side by side with the Group CFO and Group Finance Controller daily — direct access to the decision makers, and the visibility that comes with it.

What you'll own

• Implementation of the Group's consolidation, budgeting and reporting platform — from design through go-live.
• Redesign of the unified Group chart of accounts and the data governance model behind it.
• IFRS 18 adoption: new presentation, management performance measures, and the disclosure build-out.
• Governance of the implementation partner — scoping, challenge, and holding delivery to standard.
• Holding company accounting, Group audit support and tax governance.
• Change management across all Group entities.

What we're looking for

• 10+ years in finance, including at least 6 years in financial audit or advisory — Big 4 experience preferred — with real technical depth in accounting, chart of accounts structure, consolidation and FP&A.
• Hands‑on IFRS reporting expertise — and a working command of IFRS 18 and what changes in presentation and performance‑measure disclosure.
• Experience in multi‑entity, multi‑country finance environments.
• Statutory reporting and external audit coordination; comfort with tax reporting and governance.
• A strong grasp of how finance operating models work end to end.
• PMO or program leadership experience — you've run a program, not just a workstream.

Helpful, but not mandatory

• Prior exposure to finance transformation, EPM or system implementation programs.

You’ll do well here if:

• You run workshops that end in decisions.
• You work independently and bring the answer, not the question.
