Job summary

The Kape in Dubai, a luxury Emirati fashion house, seeks a highly organized Fashion Accountant to oversee daily accounting and financial operations for the brand.

You will prepare monthly reports, manage cash flow, and collaborate with production, merchandising, and retail teams to monitor costs and inventory.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of accounting experience in fashion or luxury, strong ERP skills, and fluency in English; Arabic is a plus. This is an on-site role in Dubai.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience in fashion, luxury, retail, or manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of inventory accounting, production costing, and retail operations.
• Experience with ERP/accounting software (Zoho Books, QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, Odoo, etc.).
• Excellent Excel and financial reporting skills.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and accounting standards.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage all day-to-day accounting and financial transactions.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and cash flow forecasts.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Monitor budgets, operating expenses, and overall financial performance.
• Work closely with production, merchandising, and retail teams to monitor inventory, production costs, and COGS.
• Track supplier payments, purchase orders, and production-related expenses.
• Reconcile inventory movements across production, warehouse, and retail.
• Process payroll and employee reimbursements.
• Prepare VAT filings and ensure compliance with UAE regulations.
• Coordinate month-end and year-end closing processes and liaise with external auditors.
• Support budgeting, financial planning, and profitability analysis by collection and product category.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and continuously improve financial processes and internal controls.
