Job summary

Confidential Company is seeking a highly skilled Accountant (Accounts) to join our finance team in Dubai. You will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable and general ledger entries for jewellery and real estate divisions.

The role requires experience in jewellery retail, IFRS, UAE VAT laws, and proficiency in Tally, SAP, or ERP systems. Immediate joiner preferred and strong analytical/leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, ACCA, CMA is a plus).
• Min 2 years of experience in accounting in jewellery only.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, VAT regulations, and UAE financial laws.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, SAP, or ERP systems).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and variance analysis for jewellery businesses.
• Handle VAT calculations, filings, and compliance with UAE tax regulations.
• Conduct bank reconciliations, cash flow management, and budgeting.

• Oversee cost control, inventory valuation, and stock reconciliations for jewellery division.
• Monitor project costings, revenue recognition, and lease agreements for real estate division.
• Coordinate with banks and financial institutions for fund management.
• Implement and improve financial controls and processes.
• Support senior management with financial insights for decision-making.
