Job summary

ATOM Insurance seeks a Finance Transformation Manager to lead the migration of its finance landscape from ATOM FICA, the Billing Engine, and SAP ERP to a modern, scalable target architecture. You will own the end-to-end transformation lifecycle from process mapping through to design, selection, implementation, training and benefits realisation.

This hands-on role requires deep accounting knowledge and experience with ERP platforms, including SAP, and will operate in a fast-moving, regulated

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with depth of practical accounting experience
• ERP and finance system implementations or migrations end to end, including leading a workstream
• Experience with SAP or comparable ERP platforms
• As-is to-be process mapping and design using BPMN or similar
• Billing, sub-ledger, premium accounting or receivables/payables engines in insurance/financial services
• Strong financial controls, reconciliations, period-end close and statutory reporting
• Data structures, data migration and reconciliation, SQL knowledge
• IFRS and insurance-specific accounting concepts exposure
• Agile or hybrid delivery experience
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Bachelor's or Master's in Finance/Accounting/IS
• 8+ years relevant experience (4+ in finance systems transformation)

Responsibilities

• Lead or co-lead end-to-end finance system implementations or migrations
• Define target designs and translate accounting requirements into technical specs
• Manage vendor evaluation, proof-of-concept and negotiations with Procurement/Legal
• Oversee chart of accounts design, ledgers, cost and profit center hierarchies
• Ensure compliant controls, audit trails and regulatory obligations are met
• Collaborate with Finance, Underwriting Operations, Claims and Data teams
• Report progress, risks and decisions to executives
• Provide training and change management around new systems

Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA) or equivalent
