Job summary

Mashreq is seeking an experienced executive to lead the Finance technology, transformation and digitalization agenda. You will act as the strategic interface between Finance and Technology, delivering all Finance-related projects across Core Banking, EPM, OFSAA, data platforms, and ERP systems.

You will establish a dedicated Finance transformation capability, govern a centralized program portfolio, manage risks, and report milestones to the Group CFO and senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, IS or related discipline
• 15-18 years of experience leading large-scale technology transformation and system implementation projects in banking
• Strong technical knowledge of Oracle Flexcube, Oracle EPM, OFSAA modules FTP, ALM, PFT, LRM & LLFP
• Strong understanding of Finance Data architecture with knowledge of Data Lake, ERP platforms, enterprise reporting solutions, system integrations
• Experience in financial and regulatory reporting, management reporting and digital transformation

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of all Finance digital transformation projects across the Bank
• Establish and direct Finance transformation capability with centralized governance
• Define portfolio governance standards, reporting disciplines and escalation thresholds
• Act as liaison between Finance, Technology and external partners for all initiatives
• Own initiation and mobilisation of approved Finance initiatives and budget reporting
• Lead Finance workstreams for Oracle Flexcube implementation and downstream systems
• Oversee Finance initiatives across Oracle EPM, OFSAA, ERP, reporting platforms and data architecture
• Develop project plans, monitor milestones, manage risks and ensure timely delivery
• Provide updates to CFO and Finance Leadership on status, risks and milestones
