Job summary

Al-Futtaim in Dubai seeks a Sr. Manager Business Applications Finance to bridge Finance and Technology, aligning the Finance IT Portfolio with enterprise goals and delivering measurable outcomes through technology strategy, roadmaps, and compliant, innovative solutions.

You will partner with Finance leadership, define epics and user stories, support budgeting and planning, and drive automation and AI initiatives while ensuring integration with enterprise platforms.

Qualifications

• Strategic thinking to align Finance technology investments with enterprise goals.
• Proficient in Agile Methods and Design Thinking to facilitate product management and delivery.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams to achieve outcomes.
• Advanced knowledge of business process design, finance technology strategy, and enterprise solution architecture.

Responsibilities

• Build a strong partnership with Finance leadership and stakeholders to align with strategic priorities.
• Develop and maintain the Finance technology strategy and multi-year roadmap in line with transformation priorities.
• Advise the Business Product Owner on technical decisions and contribute to backlog and epics.
• Define, manage and accept user stories with outcome-led requirements.
• Participate in RFx processes and evaluate vendor and solution capabilities.
• Support business cases, operating model changes, and integration into planning and budgeting cycles.
• Introduce innovations to Finance through automation, analytics, AI, and emerging tech.
• Own and manage the Finance technology demand pipeline and prioritization based on value and risk.
• Translate priorities into product requirements, epics, capabilities, and user stories.
• Collaborate with Finance teams to standardize processes and promote reuse of enterprise platforms.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, risk, data, and technology standards.
