Job summary

Al-Futtaim is seeking a Financial Controlling Manager - AI Automation in Dubai to lead IFRS compliance, policy development, and automated finance processes. You will strengthen divisional internal controls, oversee period close, and coordinate with audit teams to ensure strong reporting governance.

The role focuses on AI-enabled automation, data governance, and cross-functional collaboration with Group Finance, IT, and Shared Services to deliver accurate, timely financial statements.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification such as CA/ACCA or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in finance, accounting, or controlling in a large organization.
• Prior supervisory responsibility is required.
• Strong IFRS and IAS knowledge with policy application skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and standardize divisional internal control frameworks.
• Strengthen governance and control assessment practices with leadership.
• Draft divisional accounting policies and support new requirements.
• Interpret IAS/IFRS requirements and provide practical guidance.
• Advise on complex accounting judgements and reporting matters.
• Monitor changes in accounting standards impacting reporting.
• Coordinate with Shared Services for timely close and substantiation.
• Drive balance sheet substantiation and periodic quality reviews.
• Lead external audits coordination and reporting processes.
• Identify AI/automation opportunities in finance processes.
