Client of Tandem Search in Dubai seeks a Finance Specialist to support day-to-day financial operations, vendor coordination, and tax compliance. The role involves accounts payable, financial reporting, and audit assistance in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in finance, strong Excel/ERP skills, and knowledge of UAE VAT regulations. Multinational exposure is a plus, with emphasis on accuracy and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable, reconciliations, and financial operations.
• Experience coordinating with vendors, external stakeholders, auditors, and banks.
• Knowledge of VAT regulations, tax filing, and UAE compliance.
• Familiarity with external audit processes and financial documentation standards.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
• Experience in multinational/high-growth environments is an advantage.
• Nice-to-have: IFRS knowledge, UAE VAT experience, budgeting/forecasting, ERP automation tools.

Responsabilités

• Finance operations: manage daily financial activities incl. invoice verification and payment processing.
• Vendor and external coordination with banks, consultants, auditors, and government entities.
• Tax & compliance: VAT filing and UAE regulatory compliance.
• Accounts payable management: monitor payables and advocate timely settlements.
• Financial reporting: prepare reports, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Audit support: coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants.
• Month- and year-end closing: assist with reconciliations, accruals, and docs.
• Budgeting & cash flow: assist forecasting and tracking expenses as needed.
• Process improvement: enhance workflows, documentation, and efficiency.

Job Purpose

Support the company s financial operations by managing day-to-day finance activities vendor coordination accounts payable tax compliance and financial reporting The role requires strong operational discipline attention to detail and the ability to work closely with internal stakeholders external vendors auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth and compliant financial processes

Key Responsibilities

• Finance operations manage daily financial activities including invoice verification payment processing reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records
• Vendor amp external coordination liaise with vendors banks consultants auditors and government-related entities to ensure smooth operational and financial workflows
• Tax amp compliance support VAT filing tax documentation and ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and internal policies
• Accounts payable management monitor payables maintain payment schedules and ensure timely settlement of vendor invoices and obligations
• Financial reporting prepare financial reports reconciliations supporting schedules and documentation for management review and audit requirements
• Audit support coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants during financial reviews audits and compliance assessments
• Month-end amp year-end closing assist in closing activities including reconciliations accruals and financial documentation preparation
• Budgeting amp cash flow support assist with budgeting forecasting expense tracking and cash flow monitoring when required
• Process improvement collaborate with internal teams to improve financial workflows documentation standards and operational efficiency

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Minimum 3 5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles
• Strong understanding of accounts payable, reconciliations, and financial operations
• Experience coordinating with vendors, external stakeholders, auditors, and banks
• Knowledge of VAT regulations, tax filing processes, and UAE financial compliance requirements
• Familiarity with external audit processes and financial documentation standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
• Experience in multinational companies or high-growth environments is an advantage
