Job summary

DMC is seeking a Finance Manager for a well-established hospitality group in Dubai. You will oversee the finance function across multiple outlets, driving consolidation, reporting, and control while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role requires a robust background in hospitality finance, leadership of finance teams, and strong collaboration with procurement, operations, and external auditors. Dubai-based, on-site position with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• CPA, CMA, ACCA or equivalent accounting qualification.
• 10–15 years of finance and accounting experience, preferably in hospitality.
• 4–6 years UAE experience in established restaurant/bar environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for outlets and group.
• Lead financial consolidation across profit centers; analyze variances by outlet/location.
• Ensure UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and labor-law compliance; liaise with auditors.
• Oversee procurement, cash flow management, and bank relations; manage three-way matching.

We’re recruiting a Finance Manager to join one of our clients, a well-established hospitality organization based in Dubai, UAE.

About Our Client:

Our client is a well-established hospitality company based in Dubai, UAE, known for delivering high-quality dining experiences and exceptional service standards. The organization operates with a strong focus on culinary excellence, guest satisfaction, and innovation, offering a diverse range of concepts that cater to both local and international audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements, for each outlet and the group as a whole
• Manage the financial consolidation of multiple profit centers and analyze performance variances across different outlets and locations
• Oversee the administrative functions of the finance department while ensuring compliance with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and applicable UAE labor laws
• Liaise with external auditors and ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations and Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) requirements
• Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and payment gateway reconciliations, including POS system integration
• Calculate the theoretical food and beverage cost for all menu items and conduct regular variance analysis between actual and theoretical costs to identify potential cost leakage
• Implement strict control measures for high-value liquor inventory, including managing par levels, monitoring pour costs, and overseeing regular bar stock reconciliations
• Regularly update recipe costs in the ERP system to reflect changes in market prices and supplier costs
• Monitor and report on wastage, spoilage, and breakage, while implementing effective controls to minimize losses
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for food, beverages, including alcoholic beverages, and operational supplies
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to secure high-quality products at competitive prices without compromising operational standards
• Oversee the purchase order process, ensuring that all purchases are properly approved, received, and matched with invoices through a three-way matching process
• Manage the procurement of alcoholic beverages, ensuring that all imports and purchases comply with Dubai Customs requirements and applicable alcohol licensing regulations
• Lead, supervise, and mentor the finance, procurement, and store keeping teams to ensure efficient day-to-day operations
• Establish and enforce strong internal control policies and procedures to prevent theft, fraud, financial irregularities, and misuse of company assets

Requirements

• Qualified professional with CPA, CMA, ACCA, or an equivalent accounting qualification
• Minimum 10–15 years of experience in finance and accounting, with strong experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry
• Minimum 4–6 years of UAE experience in an established restaurant and bar environment
