Job summary

Tanqeeb, Dubai-based hospitality group, is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee financial operations across multiple outlets. The role demands CPA/CMA/ACCA or equivalent, 10–15 years in finance with hospitality focus, and 4–6 years UAE experience in restaurant/bar environments.

You will lead finance, procurement, and store teams, ensuring robust internal controls and regulatory compliance. You will supervise monthly reporting, consolidation, budgeting, and cost-control initiatives,

Qualifications

• CPA, CMA, ACCA or equivalent accounting qualification.
• 10–15 years of experience in finance and accounting, with strong hospitality industry exposure.
• 4–6 years UAE experience in restaurant and bar environments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for outlets and group.
• Manage financial consolidation across multiple profit centers and analyze variances.
• Ensure UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and labor law compliance.
• Coordinate with external auditors and comply with Dubai Municipality and DTCM requirements.
• Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and payment gateway reconciliations.
• Calculate theoretical food and beverage costs and perform variance analyses to identify cost leakage.
• Implement strong internal controls for liquor inventory and par levels.
• Update recipe costs in ERP reflecting market and supplier price changes.
• Monitor wastage, spoilage, and losses; implement corrective controls.
• Negotiate with suppliers for food/bev and operational supplies; develop procurement strategies.
• Oversee PO process with three-way matching; ensure approvals and matching invoices.
• Lead finance, procurement, and store teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Enforce internal control policies to prevent theft and financial irregularities.

We’re recruiting a Finance Manager to join one of our clients, a well-established hospitality organization based in Dubai, UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements,including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements, for each outlet andthe group as a whole
• Manage the financial consolidation of multiple profitcenters and analyze performance variances across different outlets andlocations
• Oversee the administrative functions of the finance department while ensuring compliance with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, andapplicable UAE labor laws
• Liaise with external auditors and ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations and Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing(DTCM) requirements
• Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and payment gateway reconciliations, including POS system integration
• Calculate the theoretical food and beverage cost for all menu items and conduct regular variance analysis between actual and theoreticalcosts to identify potential cost leakage
• Implement strict control measures for high-value liquorinventory, including managing par levels, monitoring pour costs, and overseeingregular bar stock reconciliations
• Regularly update recipe costs in the ERP system to reflectchanges in market prices and supplier costs
• Monitor and report on wastage, spoilage, and breakage, whileimplementing effective controls to minimize losses
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for food,beverages, including alcoholic beverages, and operational supplies
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to securehigh-quality products at competitive prices without compromising operationalstandards
• Oversee the purchase order process, ensuring that allpurchases are properly approved, received, and matched with invoices through athree-way matching process
• Manage the procurement of alcoholic beverages, ensuring thatall imports and purchases comply with Dubai Customs requirements and applicablealcohol licensing regulations
• Lead, supervise, and mentor the finance, procurement, and store keeping teams to ensure efficient day-to-day operations
• Establish and enforce strong internal control policies andprocedures to prevent theft, fraud, financial irregularities, and misuseofcompany assets

Requirements

• Qualified professional with CPA, CMA, ACCA, or an equivalentaccounting qualification
• Minimum 10–15 years of experience in finance and accounting,with strong experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry
• Minimum 4–6 years of UAE experience in an establishedrestaurant and bar environment
