Tea mate in Dubai is seeking an experienced accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations in a fast-paced hospitality environment. You will handle payables/receivables, monthly statements, and inventory valuation, while strengthening controls to protect assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is essential.
• Professional accounting certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CMA are highly desirable.
• Minimum 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years specifically within the UAE restaurant or hospitality industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Oracle NetSuite) and POS systems commonly used in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments to suppliers.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow) with a focus on departmental profitability.
• Oversee inventory costing and valuation, reconciling stock takes and identifying discrepancies to minimize waste and optimize purchasing.
