Job summary

RTC1 Recruitment Services in Dubai seeks a Finance Manager to lead the finance function for a travel-focused company. You will oversee AP, AR, GL, month-end close, cash flow, and supplier payments, driving accurate reporting and compliance in a high-volume environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance (CA/ACCA/CPA advantageous) with 5–8 years’ experience, preferably in travel or hospitality sectors, and strong ERP/commercial skills, including Arabic language ability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; professional qualifications like CA/ACCA/CPA are advantageous.
• Minimum 5–8 years of progressive finance/accounting experience, including supervising a team.
• Preference for travel & tourism/ticketing/hospitality/high-volume transaction environments.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of ERP/accounting systems, AP/AR, GL, VAT, audits; Arabic skills required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Finance Department and oversee AP, AR, GL, reconciliations, month-end closing, collections, and supplier payments.
• Manage financial operations of a high-volume travel business with timely processing of payments and settlements.
• Own cash flow, bank positions, working capital, budgets, forecasts, and monthly management reporting.
• Establish and strengthen financial controls, policies, and procedures, ensuring UAE VAT compliance and regulatory requirements.

Job Description:

• Lead the Finance Department and overseeing AP, AR, GL, reconciliations, month-end closing, collections, and supplier payments.
• Manage the financial operations of a high-volume travel business, ensuring accurate and timely processing of customer payments, supplier/airline/hotel settlements, refunds, commissions and other travel-related transactions.
• Take ownership of cash flow, bank positions, working capital, budgets, forecasts and monthly management reporting, providing management with accurate financial information for business decisions.
• Establish and strengthen financial controls, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with UAE VAT, accounting standards, audit requirements, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; professional qualifications such as CA, ACCA, CMA or CPA are an advantage.
• Minimum 5–8 years of progressive finance/accounting experience, including proven experience supervising an accounting or finance team.
• Strong preference for experience within travel & tourism, travel agencies, OTAs, ticketing/booking businesses, hospitality, e-commerce or another high-volume transaction environment.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of ERP/accounting systems, AP/AR, GL, financial reporting, cash-flow management, budgeting, forecasting, VAT and audit coordination; Arabic communication skills required.
