Job summary

FIVE Hotels & Resorts in Abu Dhabi seeks a senior finance leader to oversee IFRS 15 revenue recognition, RERA/DLD escrow management, and project cost-to-complete reporting. You will drive budgeting, VAT and corporate tax compliance, and lead a finance team across functions.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance with ACCA/CA/CPA/CMA, 8+ years of finance experience including UAE real estate development, and strong SAP FI/CO expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance plus a recognised professional qualification (ACCA/CA/CPA or CMA).
• Minimum 8 years of finance experience, including 4+ years with a UAE-based real estate developer.
• Strong hands-on experience in IFRS 15 off-plan revenue recognition and escrow management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee IFRS 15 revenue recognition incl. percentage-of-completion and escrow handling.
• Manage project accounting, cost-to-complete reporting and budget vs. actual analysis.
• Lead finance team and collaborate with sales, projects, procurement and HR.
• Deliver monthly management accounts and cash flow forecasts to senior management.
• Ensure VAT and corporate tax compliance; support external audits and internal controls.
• Maintain SAP FI/CO data integrity and support ERP enhancements.
