The ideal candidate has 5+ years of financial management experience in contracting, civil construction, or interior fit-out, with strong Excel and financial modelling skills and a proven ability to work cross-functionally with project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master’s or CPA/CFA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of financial management experience in contracting, civil construction, or interior fit-out.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Proficient in financial software with advanced Excel and modelling.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize profitability and cash flow.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain accurate records.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for senior management.

Position Overview

The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance to support business growth and sustainability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management within the contracting, civil construction, or interior fit-out industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize profitability and cash flow.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for senior management.
• Manage the company’s financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities, including variance analysis and financial modelling.
• Collaborate with project managers to monitor project budgets, costs, and financial performance.
• Conduct financial risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage the audit process.
• Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions and growth initiatives.
• Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
