Job summary

Fivehotelsandresorts in Dubai seeks a seasoned Finance professional to lead monthly close, budgeting, and financial reporting for the International Luxury Hospitality segment.

You will partner with department heads, drive cost controls, and ensure accuracy of balance sheets while collaborating across Dubai and USA time zones; willingness to travel to New York is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance or related field; ACCA/CIMA preferred.
• 5+ years of Finance experience in luxury hotel industry.
• Proven budgeting, cost control and financial target achievement.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to New York; flexible hours across Dubai/USA.

Responsibilities

• Ensure monthly closing reports and essential management reports with precision.
• Guarantee balance sheets reflect assets and liabilities accurately.
• Review reconciliations for high accuracy.
• Forecasting and budgeting proposals aligned with standards.
• Develop and implement best practices for financial accounting and controls.
• Collaborate with Department Heads to boost financial awareness.
• Present capital reviews as required by the Financial Controller.
• Conduct monthly Finance Update Meetings with the Financial Controller.
• Lead cross-department collaboration within the luxury hotel group.

• Worksclosely with the Financial Controller to provide Comprehensive and Accurateforecasting and budgeting proposals, aligning with FIVE’s World-ClassStandards.
• Developsand implements Best Practices for financial accounting and control procedures,constantly Reviewing processes to Maximise efficiency and impact.
• Complieswith FIVE’s Policies and Procedures, enhancing performance on the FinanceBalanced Scorecard and setting Industry-Leading benchmarks.
• Conductsmonthly Finance Update Meetings with the Financial Controller, drivingStrategic financial discussions.
